Tour available from Monday to Saturday at 9:30 am. The starting point is the Tourist Attention Module of the Olimpo Cultural Center, located on 62nd Street by 61st and 63rd Street, Downtown. Free and bilingual tour.
This tour is an exciting experience that takes you to explore the heart of the historic center of the city. Certified guides will accompany you on this journey through time, sharing the rich history of Mérida as they take you to visit the main buildings and landmarks of the city. Some of the highlights you will visit during this tour include: Municipal Palace, Casa Montejo, Ateneo Peninsular, Cathedral of San Ildefonso, and the State Government Palace. The tour continues to the beautiful Hidalgo Park, where you will find other buildings such as the Church of the Third Order, the Central Building of the UADY (Autonomous University of Yucatán), and José Peón Contreras theater. The walk culminates in the charming Santa Lucia Park.
Tour "Montejo Pasado con Esplendor"
Available from Thursday to Saturday, at 7:00 p.m., and departs from the Tourist Attention Module of Paseo de Montejo, located on the corner with Avenida Colón. Tours are free and bilingual.
